We are always in search of new research opportunities and project ideas. If you represent a nonprofit, government office, elected official, or anyone else with research needs, we would love to learn about them. When reviewing project proposals, we consider our technical and personnel capacity, the level of interest among our researchers, and our ability to access relevant data. Don't hesitate to reach out; no topic is off-limits and no project is typical.
Get Involved
The Paul Douglas Institute recruits new researchers once per year in the Fall, but openings on certain project teams may be available throughout the year. Membership in the Paul Douglas Institute is only open to University of Chicago undergraduate students. Students with inquiries or project ideas should contact:
